In 2018, the Sarawak State Government initiated the Sarawak Digital Strategy, a blueprint aimed at fostering the Sarawak Digital Economy. The strategy encompassed a comprehensive action plan designed to integrate digital technology across all sectors of the economy.

Among the Sarawak State Government’s endeavors, the International Digital Economy Conference Sarawak (IDECS) stands out as a catalyst for new developments in the region. IDECS is envisioned to catalyze a revolution in Sarawak’s economy and industries, driving socio-economic growth and advancement.

This year’s Sarawak DEA2024 coincides with the 7th International Digital Economy Conference Sarawak (IDECS) 2024, marking a significant juncture.

The Sarawak Digital Economy Awards (DEA2024) is organized by the Sarawak State Government through Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA) with the support from several federal and state agencies. Submission is free and all are invited to submit.
